Do they give instant cash if you make an deposit through the online banking?
Is there a way to see pending transactions on the new online banking platform?
A benefit fund has been established at Fox Communities Credit Union for Mike Walschinski and his family. Mike, a young husband and father, is currently battling stage 3 Duodenal Cancer. On Monday, February 24, 2020, Mike had major surgery, called a Whipple, which involved removing the duodenum, part of his stomach, pancreas and bile ducts. While still in the ICU following the surgery, he received the crushing news that the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes. After he heals from surgery, he will be facing six grueling months of intensive chemo treatments. Although his cancer has scary survival rates, Mike is a true survivor having beat brain cancer when he was just a teenager. As Mike puts it, he “won the cancer lottery, again”. To make matters worse, just a few weeks before receiving the devastating cancer diagnosis, Mike was laid off from his job at Pierce Manufacturing losing his income and insurance and has been too ill to look for work. A perfect storm of bad circumstances for which no family could be fully prepared. Mike has a lot to live for including a loving wife, Lea, beautiful daughter, Rose (7), and an energetic son, Gage (4). Rose has Spina Bifida and faces her own health challenges. Lea only works part-time from home as a freelance virtual assistance and graphic designer to give her the flexibility to attend to Rose’s special needs and ongoing medical and therapy appointments. Mike and this young family are facing a challenging road ahead with little income, mounting medical expenses for both Mike and Rose and a difficult battle against a relentless disease. Please keep them in your prayers and, if you are able, consider donating to the Walschinski Family Benefit Fund at the address shown below. Mike & Lea’s extended family decided to establish this benefit fund on their behalf rather than using GoFundMe or similar platform so that 100% of any donations will go directly to Mike and Lea. We truly appreciate all your prayers, love and support. Make your check payable to: Walschinski Family Benefit Fund Fox Communities Credit Union 3401 E. Calumet St. Appleton, WI 54915
Is Fox joining other institutions in forgiving a month or two of loan payments if arranged? A friend of mine banks locally and they moved the payments until the end for him due to cut hours and unexpected costs that many are facing during this time.
Honestly thinking about switching banks as I can no longer get thru the phone lines to ask questions. It's faster to go inside than the drive thru and even going inside the bank takes a very long time now. The online never reflects correctly and I'm tired if getting charged over draft fees even thou I keep an eye on my account. I've been with this bank since I've been 18 and there's nothing to show.
I’m not able to complete online transfers this morning. Is this feature temporarily down?
Absolutely hate your new bill pay that times out before you are done paying your bills. If I am actively working on them it shouldn't time out.
I love this bank have been with them for 4 years now
This is the WORST credit union ever! Between the over- month- long hassle of them "improving" their system; (that has reverted back to hiding withdrawals, so you think you have money that you don't, and, you get the added humiliation of being denied transactions because even though you checked your balance- that's not really what the balance is!!!!!), and their nickle and diming fees for EVERYTHING (even if you go to a free ATM- your CU is going to charge you to take your money- and if you do it more than once a day, well- you're going to be charged every time!). Been with this CU for well over 20 years and now I am forced to going back to just keeping my money at home, where thieves will have to make an effort to steal my money, rather than me just forking it over every day.
I just want to give a shout out to whoever Amanda is who answers the online messages through Facebook. She is on top of things and willing to work for the members. Not sure who she is, but she needs a raise!!! Thanks Amanda! You absolutely rock!!!
Are we ever going to be able to see pending ACH deposits again, like we used to be able to? I am not sure if I like this new online banking, I think it is geared more towards businesses and people with multiple accounts. The things I liked about online banking were taken away.
Fox Communities is terrible!! Can't get through on the phone lines again due to the upgrade that occurred over a month ago!! No confidence in them whatsoever anymore!

Happy Valentine's Day from your friends at Fox Communities Credit Union. And remember: to the world you may be one person, but to one person, you may be the world.

Recently, there has been an increase in text and telephone scams, as well as caller ID spoofing taking place in Wisconsin and across the country. These calls often appear to come from a local financial institution stating they are from the Fraud Department, and will often try and get credit card numbers, PINs, online banking credentials, etc. It is often difficult to tell immediately if an incoming call is spoofed. Be extremely careful about responding to any request for personal identifying information.

For additional tips on how to protect yourself from these types of scams, please read more here: https://foxcu.org/2020/02/fraud-alert-please-read/

[11/22/19]   Fox Members, we are happy to report that pending debit card transactions are now available to view in Digital Banking. When pending, the debit card transaction will show ‘Pending’ in the date column. For additional updates, please see our status updates webpage: https://foxcu.org/upgrade/status/

Lastly, we sincerely thank our members for their patience with us during our technology upgrade. Credit unions were founded with the philosophy of "people helping people" and we've seen many amazing examples of this among our members.

[11/14/19]   An update for Fox Members:

Pending Debit Transactions: we are aware this feature didn’t make it into our new digital banking, however, we are working hard to get it added in - stay tuned!

Pending ACH Transactions within digital banking: this is a feature that we are working towards adding back into our digital banking platform in the near future.

Some consumer loan (auto, boat, etc.) payment due dates are not displaying correctly in digital banking: we are working to solve this issue as soon as possible. Your consumer loan payment due date has not changed.

Thank you for your continued partnership with us.

Stay tuned for further updates.

[11/13/19]   We understand some of our members are still having difficulty with enrolling in our new digital banking platform and our call center is experiencing high call volumes. We know this is frustrating for our members and we're doing everything we can to help as calls/emails/social media posts come in.

In the meantime, here are a few tips to give a try:

Make sure you are using the updated version of our app.

When attempting to enroll from a computer, please use the latest version of any one of the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.

We do have extended hours at our branches and call center for the remainder of the week. Please see this webpage for the schedule https://foxcu.org/upgrade/.

Lastly, please come see us at one of our branches where we may be able to help you quicker.

We can't say thank you enough for your patience.

[11/13/19]   Thank you for your patience as we have navigated through our Technology Upgrade. We have been diligently working to complete the upgrade. Most items went as expected, however some did not go as planned. We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced!

As we close today, we have corrected many items that have been commented upon prior:

- Digital Banking enrollment is working. It is important to "Enroll" in the new platform now that the new system is live, even if you had a previous username and password. If you still have difficulties, please contact us.

- Debit and Credit Card Transactions from the weekend are now visible in Digital Banking.

- Transactions that accidentally showed as duplicates are being corrected.

- Feel free to try our alternate phone number 920-636-7018, if needed.

Again, thank you for your patience and support!

[11/12/19]   Due to an issue with our digital banking platform, we are experiencing higher than normal call volumes in our Call Center. Please be patient as Fox has all hands on deck working toward a resolution. Thank you.

[11/12/19]   Fox members: we are aware of an issue with trying to enroll in our new digital platform. Our team is working to resolve this as soon as possible. We are sorry for the inconvenience and we will keep you posted.

Today, we recognize those who served our country - thank you Veterans!

[11/11/19]   Our Technology Upgrade is offically "go for launch!" We appreciate your patience with us through our Upgrade period - we promise it will be worth it. As a reminder, Fox debit cards, credit cards, checks, and ATMs will function throughout the Upgrade.

As we gear up to kick off our Technology Upgrade, we'd like our members to know that you've got a hardworking team of over 400 Fox employees who are doing everything they can to make this as smooth and positive of an experience as possible.
