I have been with them for 6 years now. Great people to work with and find you the best rate!
I can not thank Patty from Appleton Thiel's Insurance for always being there for me and giving me fast service. I just bought a different car and she had me covered and up to snuff even before I was there to pick up the car. What a relief that is to know I am covered even before I am driving the car out of the lot. Thanks Patty for keeping me safe.
They understand your needs and what you want TALK TO YOU
We have been with Thiel Insurance since we bought our house in 1990. Love working with them to find the best rates for our autos and house. They are very thorough and explain things very simply.
We had a home sale not go though on July 4, yes July 4th so we would not have had insurance. We texted hoping to get a response but we were not confident being it was a holiday. However; Boyd took time out of his holiday to call and let us know he would make sure the insurance continued! Amazing! We have had nothing but wonderful, fast, friendly service from Thiel Insurance for the many, many years we’ve been with them! We’ve worked with Patti for the majority of our needs and she is simply outstanding! They feel more like family than a business! I highly recommend them if you are looking for insurance!
Friendly, in detail and fast
The time they take with you to get the job done. And there knowledge

Have been with their agency for over 20 years. Always great service and this year they found us a great deal on car and home insurance that was almost $600 less than what we were paying through another company. So happy!😁

You would think that in these days of high-tech, and where planes are becoming spaceships, the fastest plane on earth would be some recent invention. That is not the case. The fastest plane ever flown is the SR-71, otherwise known as the Blackbird. The Blackbird was first built way back in the late 1950s. On its retirement flight on this day in 1990, it set a transcontinental record, flying 2,404 miles in 1:08:17. It first set the record for the fastest plane in 1976.

We are reaching the time of year when the snow pack is traditionally at its highest level here in NE WI, and it causes concern for two types of losses that can often be prevented by implementing some preventative measures.

The first is roof collapse due to weight of ice, sleet or snow. As the picture shows, this roof is already bowing due to the heavy snow load. A warm up followed by rain or more heavy wet snow could cause this roof to cave in. Having the roof raked and the snow removed at this time of year could likely prevent a collapse from occurring.

The brief warm up we had this past weekend caused several sump pumps to fail as well. It is important that snow is moved away from the sump pump external pipe and have it looked at to make sure it is not plugged with ice. Physically checking the sump pump to make sure it is working properly before a big thaw or heavy rain event is a good idea, as well as considering having a battery back up installed, obtaining a back up generator, or having a water powered pump installed if the building is located in a municipality and has city water.

Finally, simply removing snow away from a building and creating a path for water to run away from the building can be all that is needed to prevent the hassle and expense of a water loss.

Enjoy the last few weeks of winter, as spring will be here before we know it!

Today is data privacy day. One of the fundamental best practices of data privacy is proper password management. You have likely heard suggestions such as using long passwords, use a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters, and don't use the same password more than once. So how do you keep track of it all? Many people use a spreadsheet or a Word document, but there is a much better solution, invest in a password management app. A password management app will safeguard all of your passwords, and you only have to remember one master password. You might also want to use two-factor authentication, which requires you to confirm your ID with a text message to your cell phone or App. To learn more about password managers, visit You will find that nearly all password managers have both a free and premium version.
