United Healthcare
• UHC is easing contractual requirements for its fully-insured and level-funded customers to offer a special COVID-19 enrollment opportunity to allow employees who did not opt in for coverage during the regular enrollment period to get coverage. The enrollment period will be open from March 23, 2020, to April 6, 2020. Self-funded customers may choose to amend their eligibility requirements to align with this special enrollment period at their discretion.
• UHC will continue to waive cost-sharing for COVID-19 testing provided at approved locations in accordance with the CDC guidelines. UHC will waive cost-sharing for COVID-19 testing related visits, whether the care is received in a physician’s office, a telehealth visit, an urgent care center or an emergency department. This coverage applies to commercial, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid members.
• UHC is expanding its telehealth policies to make it easier for people to connect with their health care provider from home. People will have access to telehealth services in two ways: Designated Telehealth Partners and Expanded Provider Telehealth Access.

To continue providing support and financial relief to customers impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, we announced that we will reduce rates for personal and commercial auto insurance customers in 12 states and the District of Columbia. The estimated amount of financial relief for Erie Insurance customers is approximately $200 million.

Aetna/ Innovation Health/ IHFA
• For the next 90 days, until June 4, 2020, Aetna will waive member cost sharing for any covered telemedicine visit – regardless of diagnosis.1.
• Between now and June 1, 2020. Aetna will waive member cost-sharing for inpatient admissions at all in-network facilities for treatment of COVID-19 or health complications associated with COVID-19.
• Until July 31, 2020 Your employees can maintain their coverage on your IHFA plans so long as (1) the reduction in hours/lay off is a temporary measure resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic; (2) you continue to pay your monthly bill and (3) you do not terminate the employee(s).
• Your business is not required to be physically open to maintain your IHFA plan throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Your employees can maintain their coverage on your IHFA plans so long as (1) the reduction in hours/lay off is a temporary measure resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic; (2) you continue to pay your monthly bill and (3) you do not terminate the employee(s).

• During this public health threat, CareFirst’s Video Visit provides free access to mental health professionals when you need it. Using your smartphone, tablet or computer, you can talk to a licensed therapist or psychiatrist without leaving home.
