[05/21/19] Beautiful home- Take a look!
[12/03/18] Our 2019 Housing Market Outlook received a nice boost with the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s release of the increased 2019 Conforming Loan Limits. The maximum conforming loan limit for 1-unit properties will be $484,350, up from $453,100 in 2018. The high-balance limit for 1-unit properties will be $726,525, up from $679,650 in 2018 (announcement). Additionally, Chairman Powell reversed the FED’s October policy position by stating the automatic schedule of quarterly rate increases is over and they’ll have to continuously monitor, debate and counterbalance slightly weakening global growth with continued strength in the US labor market. As a result, a growing number of economists are revising downward 2019’s forecasted number of rate hikes helping some mortgage programs improve slightly.

Two years ago @Erin Mendenhall came up with the idea of developing a real estate program with Marymount University - together with Jenny Quinn (RGS Arlington), Sharon Slayton (Atlantic Coast mortgage) and in partnership with Marymount, we launched the "Marymount Advantage program”.
We have hosted multiple successful events on campus and helped countless alumni find beautiful homes with bundled savings - see below the latest testimonial from our most recent closing-
“Thinking about buying my first home was overwhelming, especially being unfamiliar with the Virginia real estate process. The Alumni and Friends Real Estate Advantage Program for Marymount alumni has now made owning a home in Arlington a reality.
This program, with Erin Mendenhall of Mendenhall Properties leading the way, makes the process of buying a home incredibly smooth. Erin is extremely knowledgeable and a dedicated professional. Her expertise of NoVa made it easy to find the perfect home. She was always available for me to ask questions and was fun to work with! Sharon and her team from Atlantic Coast Mortgage were very professional and provided invaluable expert guidance as I navigated through the financing. Jenny and Susan from RGS Title made the closing process a breeze! And not only do you get all of this expertise when using this program, you receive phenomenal discounts as well!
I can’t say enough about all of these people I have worked with these past couple of months. Their commitment to helping people buy their first home is second to none. Mendenhall Properties/Atlantic Coast Mortgage/RGS Title is the team that you want on your side when you are buying a home and thanks to the Alumni and Friends Real Estate Advantage Program, I was able to have this extraordinary team on my side!”
