Tax Deadline Extended to July 15 Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

The IRS announced Friday that the national income tax filing day – aka Tax Day – is moved to July 15, 2020. This is part of a growing effort to alleviate the financial pain from the COVID-19 pandemic. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin announced the tax deadline was moved from April 15 to July 15.
