MY MORNING MINDSET #RITUAL
I used to wake up, get dressed, and start working. The thought was, the quicker I get to work, the more I would achieve. Now, I COMPLETELY shifted my morning routine, and it makes a massive difference.
When I wake up, I do these 3 things:
1) I choose something I am grateful for today. This focuses my attention on#gratitude.
2) I sit down to take my vitamins and add a couple of drops of Soothe to my cup of coffee. During this time, I right down the five things I want to accomplish today. This focuses on my health and prepares for the day.
3) I do a 30-minute workout each day—it's a combo of yoga, strength, and my Peloton. If I’m strong physically, I am strong mentally.
Which of these can you incorporate into your daily #routine?
You are worth the effort, time, and energy.
When looking back and remembering the past, be #grateful.
When looking ahead to the future, be #hopeful.
When looking at today, be #positive.
Create a mission or purpose statement for your business.
Creating a mission statement brings direction, clarity, and focus on your business and creates a unifying force for all business activities.
Find a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted and begin to jot down ideas about your business's central purpose.
Write down anything that comes to mind, then refine your ideas until you have a short statement that encapsulates your business mission.

MY MORNING MINDSET RITUAL:
I used to dread mornings. So much, in fact, I would get super grumpy on Sunday evenings just anticipating Monday morning.
Now, I COMPLETELY shifted my morning routine and it makes a massive difference.
When I wake up I do these 3 things:
1) I wake up and give gratitude for the wonderful things in my life.
2) I do my workout so I'm putting myself and my health first.
3) I prioritize revenue-generating tasks for 3 - 4 hours in the morning hours while I'm fresh and have energy.
Which of these do you incorporate into your daily routine?
So often, I forget to be grateful for the small things in life and just take them for granted. I work to be mindful and intentional.
We are so blessed to be alive and living and in 2020 I am journaling 3 different things that I am grateful for every single day.
Every time I journal it out, I am happier and in such a great mood and space.
Try it out for a couple of weeks and see how your perspective changes!

Change Your Hiring Process
To build a successful virtual sales team, it’s vital to hire the right people. Hiring employees remotely is not the same as hiring for office/travel-related sales.
The remote nature of the work must be taken into consideration.
Virtual employees need to be more self-motivated than on-premise workers. They also need to be comfortable doing sales in a virtual environment. In fact, they need to want to do sales remotely and thrive in that environment. If they don’t, they are the wrong fit and will fail.
Companies are making hiring mistakes recruiting sales representatives who have performed well in a traditional sales setting to assume that they will perform equally well under remote supervision.
It’s a new world and, most importantly, a new opportunity.

My dream life looks like this:
Traveling with my family whenever I want to even outside of Thanksgiving, Christmas & Spring breaks.
Supporting my favorite charity to empower them to make real changes in kid’s lives.
Taking time to walk in the woods and connect with our wonderful planet.
Working with clients who are excited and jazzed about life. Helping them find results and solve problems.
It’s a #lifestyle.
We often compare ourselves to people who have been working for years to get to where they are today.
The others with the “overnight #success” or immediate results have been at this longer than you have. Usually for years and years and years.
They have had more time to grow and build. And, trust me, they’ve all made big mistakes and had failures around the way.
Take your #business one step at a time and follow a specific proven process that can drive leads, sales, revenues, and profits.
Some people see sales as bad professions. The ones that do should not be in sales. Sales require dedication and not the weak of heart. In our profession, the top salespeople make the most money.
Here are some positives:
As a commission-based salesperson, your earning potential is unlimited and with a product or service that has been proven.
If you have the skills, they can provide support, protection, and financial independence.
Commission-based sales take real work and real commitment. There is a reason why most entrepreneurs fail. It’s difficult. You have to go and make it work.

As a small business owner, you are in business with the intent to make a profit, hopefully, a large profit. Understanding the mathematics of business could save you from spending years in a business that does not provide the return on investment you had expected.
For example, consider the restaurant business. The average rate of return on an independently owned restaurant is 8-12%. The owner usually invests $50,000-100,000 into the business, works 10-16 hour days as an owner/employee, and then makes only a $5,000-10,000 profit (10%) for the year-long effort. Even if you factor in tax savings, in this example, the owner probably should have invested the money in no-load mutual funds for a greater return without the 10-16 hour days.
