It looks like another round round of Covid-19 stimulus will be passed by Congress soon. This will result in additional stimulus payments, increased unemployment benefits, additional funding of the PPP loan program for business owners, eviction assistance and financial assistance for schools to name several of the more well-known aspects of the stimulus plan. The payroll tax deferment that was related to Covid-19 is what it sounds like. You will have to pay it in the future. There has been talks of a possible forgiveness of those payroll taxes. Until those talks become a law it is best to prepare to repay your deferred payroll taxes.

I advise all business owners that have plans to borrow money for Covid-19 related reasons to begin making arrangements now. Start checking your personal and business credit. Speak with a lender to see if your scores meet loan requirements. You will need your company's financial statements. These are just for starters.

Rotary Club Of Space Center BMW Raffle.

The car in this video is the actual vehicle that will be given away in the Rotary Club Of Space Center's BMW raffle. Tickets are 100.00 a piece. All proceeds from this event will go towards helping fund Clear Lake Area community service intiatives which include scholarships for college bound Clear Creek Independent School District students, veterans assistance organizations, and

The Michael Holt Show: Reach One And Their Thanksgiving Meal Give Away.

Welcome to this week's episode of The Michael Holt Show. The day before Thanksgiving we volunteered with the folks over at a non profit named Reach One in Houston, Texas. Reach One was started by Bobby Rouse an Atlanta transplant who made his home in Houston nearly a decade ago after marrying his wife Erica. Reach One's goals are to empower, uplift, and support families in underserved communities in the Houston area. The event they invited us out to was a Thanksgiving Dinner giveaway @ Lift Fit gym in Southeast Houston, Texas. The crew over at Reach One were able to raise the money to help dozens of familes in need with holiday care boxes consisting of whole frozen turkeys, can goods, and desert items. Due to people having financial difficulties during the Covid-19 pandemic and our recent recession these donated items were a life saver for families trying to preserve holiday cheer. Happy Thanksgiving. This Thanksgiving is going to be a bit different from the ones we are accustomed to due to the worldwide pandemic. I have firmly stood by the idea that service during this pandemic to our neighbors is something we should consider to be a high priority. I do not live in the Sagemont area anymore. I do not always recognize the people when they post in groups here on Facebook. I do recognize when I need to help. According to CNBC as of last night over 54 million Americans face some type of food shortage. I can not help all of them with my limited resources. However, that is not an excuse to do what I can. I volunteered this morning with Bobby Rouse and Erica Rouse of the Reach One Foundation to help with a Thanksgiving Meal pick they organized. I could not cover the entire costs of the event. September Stimulus Update

I hope that everyone is doing well. Thank you for following us and watching this video.
As of now I have no stimulus check release dates. I will say that Congress has been at a standstill over the actual dollar amount in aid that will actually be available. I do not like posting daily on the stimulus or any Coronavirus relief until everything is finalized by our government. l will keep you posted.

October 15th is the deadline for filing taxes if you requested an extension back on July 15th. Drop a comment below or inbox us if you have federal or state income tax questions.
