Turn your pension, 401K, IRA, other retirement accounts into a tax-advantaged account. Don't lose 20% or more of your retirement paying income taxes.

I have been an insurance agent since 2009. When I first started I was working with health insurance. Since then I have concentrated on Medicare Health Plans for Seniors. These plans work with Medicare to give Seniors a comprehensive health plan. I represent the best of the health insurance companies. Since I am appointed by several companies I am able to find the most suitable plan for a senior. Medicare health plans can be confusing. Medicare Advantage plans change every year along with the Prescription Drug Plans. I help navigate through the changes. Medigap or Supplement plans are more stable and don't change once a person is enrolled.

WEBINARJAM | How to choose a Medicare Supplement without going crazy.

Today at 2pm. The basics of Medicare A, B, C, and D will be explained. Why people should choose a Supplement Plan compared to a Medicare Advantage answered.

[10/21/16]   The increase in Social Security will trigger an increase in Medicare Part B premiums. As a result Part B premiums will go up to $121 a month. There goes the $4 a month Social Security. The total loss per Medicare Recipient will be -$12 a month or about $144 loss of income per year for Seniors.

[10/21/16]   The following is the COLA for Social Security Recepients. What a joke, .3%. Less than $5.00 a month on average. In the next post I will explain how Seniors will lose money on this increase.

Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) Information for 2017

Monthly Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits for more than 65 million Americans will increase 0.3 percent in 2017.

The 0.3 percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) will begin with benefits payable to more than 60 million Social Security beneficiaries in January 2017. Increased payments to more than 8 million SSI beneficiaries will begin on December 30, 2016.

Read more about the Social Security Cost-of-Living adjustment for 2017.

The maximum amount of earnings subject to the Social Security tax (taxable maximum) will increase to $127,200.

The earnings limit for workers who are younger than "full" retirement age (age 66 for people born in 1943 through 1954) will increase to $16,920. (We deduct $1 from benefits for each $2 earned over $16,920.)

The earnings limit for people turning 66 in 2017 will increase to $44,880. (We deduct $1 from benefits for each $3 earned over $44,880 until the month the worker turns age 66.)

There is no limit on earnings for workers who are "full" retirement age or older for the entire year.

Read more about the COLA, tax, benefit and earning amounts for 2017.
