It is an end of an era. I would like to inform you that Benavides-Arellano Insurance will be closing its doors. All Progressive, ASI, ARI, TWICO and Anchor Insurance policies will be serviced by Americorp Insurance Group. I am working closely with Americorp to provide a smooth transition. Within the next 30 days the transition should be complete. Insurance is a part of my life, family and DNA. This has not been a decision made lightly, but I will be using this time to concentrate on my health and family. It has been an honor and privilege to service your insurance needs for the past 10 years. Thank you so much for your patronage and friendship and we look forward to what's to come.

United ISD will cancel classes tomorrow due to the power outage of today's storm. In some campuses power has not been restored and we need to evaluate our buildings to make sure they are safe for all our students, faculty and staff.
