Nevada Supreme Court ruling upholds nonjudicial foreclosure process

Significant ruling against lenders today. NMLA strongly disagrees with this decision. We support the ruling by the US District court that the entire process violates due process. We expect ongoing court battles in this seemingly endless conflict. The Nevada Supreme Court ruled Thursday that a nonjudicial foreclosure process used by investors and speculators to acquire HOA properties at bargain basement prices during the great recession does not violate the constitutional protections of original mortgage holders.
