Almost 14 years ago to the day I started my financial services practice. Most of my contacts were not local as a result of a career as a consultant at Accenture which required me to travel 80% of the time, and I had no choice but to start my practice virtually and have client meetings remotely over the phone. All of my managers and colleagues thought I would fail bc “clients want to meet eyeball to eyeball and belly to belly” with their financial advisor.
Over the years I’ve continued to build a virtual practice serving clients in 25 states and have grown to become one of the top 50 advisors at one of the largest broker dealers. Today I still run a practice that is over 90% virtual bc even local clients don’t want to take on NoVa/DC traffic!
I’m proud to say that my staff and I haven’t missed a beat in these times of social distancing and self-quarantining, and now we are trendy! I really wish #okboomer was a phrase back then 🤣
So continue to stay safe and wash your hands...but you don’t have to wash your hands before OR after meeting with me!! 😜
