stories and more, real estate related. We are in a technological era, where "Social Media" is the new term of the day, real estate and all that comes with it is not immune to the new way of doing business.
The days of putting a sign in the front yard and hoping the house sells are now obsolete. Or riding around in a car with a buyer a few times and then sitting at a closing table. And with that, so should be many of the ways of conducting traditional real estate transactions and representations. So how will working with me be different from the other agents out there? My experience is not only in the real estate arena but technology as well, so therefore I will make sure to use the latest technological tools available that most real estate agent today can even start to understand, such as; Social Media ie, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, optimization of pages by using SEO and SMO, Websites, Blogs, etc. tools that other agent can even dream of using. My beliefs, skills, and philosophies go far beyond the traditional ways of handling real estate. What I bring to the table for you, first and foremost, is real estate experience and knowledge. But that is where it can end for most. You can expect a service that combines old ways of media advertisement with the new ways of using the internet. Why is this important for you? Well just because the more exposure your home gets the more chances of getting an able and willing buyer hence selling your home at the best possible price. You will not just sell or buy a home with me. Rather, I will manage the entire process and offer services and experience in areas far beyond that. More importantly, you can depend on me to listen intently to your cares, concerns, and motivations whether you are buying, selling, or transitioning. And I will deliver results always cognizant of fulfilling expectations with effective communication. I would both value and enjoy the opportunity to represent you in your real estate transactions and would spare absolutely no expense of time, energy, or financial resources to assure, to the best of my ability, that your total satisfaction is meet. Sincerely, Anthony Galeano Realtor

Property Tax Update
While significant relief at the state level has been achieved with regard to a number of tax deadlines being extended, that has not been the case for property taxes due to existing state law.
The CRA has been asking for the state to step in and delay the required payments otherwise due this week.
Without a legislature in session to make the needed change that would allow a statewide payment extension, the issue will be resolved county by county.
The latest news is that the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) and the California Association of County Treasurers and Tax Collectors issued the following statement regarding the COVID‐19 crisis and the April 10th property tax deadline:
“Taking care of Californians is our top priority, and counties, cities, and schools are burning through local reserves to do so. Any delay in payments beyond the April 10 property tax deadline, for individuals or businesses that can pay, will tip local governments into insolvency at a time when our residents need us the most. Counties will use all existing authority to cancel penalties and other charges for homeowners, small businesses, and other property owners that are unable to pay their property taxes due to circumstances caused by COVID‐19 on a case‐by‐case basis. However, property owners who can pay or that haven’t been directly affected by COVID‐19, including international corporations and out‐of‐state landlords, still need to pay on time to keep critical government services running.”
The office of the Los Angeles County Treasurer and Tax Collector has issued the following: “We have no authority to extend the April 10 deadline, as outlined by State Law. However, beginning on April 11, the day after property taxes are due, people unable to pay on time for reasons related to COVID-19 may submit a request for penalty cancellation online. The department has set up a special team to process these requests for those who demonstrate they were affected by the outbreak.”
