Planned north Tulsa grocery store builder asks for up to $1.5 million in TIF funding

Known as Project Oasis, the planned $5 million store at 1717 North Peoria is a public-private collaboration designed to end food deserts in the Tulsa community. In Tulsa’s District 1, which encompasses most of north Tulsa, 93% of the people, or nearly 42,000, lack access within a mile radius to affordable fresh food. As a mission-based organization, it makes our hearts beam to know we are working on projects that will make a world of difference in our local community.
